Past projects

  • Nekiri’s Tail is a third person puzzle stealth game developed using Unreal Engine. My main role in the project was scrum master, which tasked me with keeping team members organized and working toward a common goal. I also programmed a movement system for the cat the player plays as in the game as well as designing and building levels for the game.

  • Spin-A-Gon is a puzzle game developed with Phaser 3 and JavaScript where the player is tasked with guiding a ball through an octagonal maze by rotating the maze left or right. My main role in the project was developing the rotation system as well as various puzzle elements that were placed throughout the maze. Spin-A-Gon won awards for innovation and professionalism at UW-Stout’s game expo.

  • Splat is a puzzle platforming game developed for android using Unity where I designed and coded various puzzle mechanics ranging from doors opening on a button press to reversing gravity.


Experience

Lead Instructor | iD Tech Camps | May 2019 – December 2019

  • Responsible for teaching week-long game development courses. Courses were mainly focused on Unreal Engine 4 and taught students aged 13-17 how to design and build levels within the editor as well as how to develop player interactions and gameplay mechanics through blueprints.

  • As a lead instructor, I was also responsible for assisting other instructors at the camp with any technical issues or bug fixes for their courses.
